Ev if u hadnt noticed i protect this wonderful country in the week from my HQ in gloucester and it would cost my £70 per week to train 3 times so i just travel back on a saturday which costs me just around £25. and as for strutting my stuff i have been.....even Woody complimented me!!! now thats something!

Some committee members and the management (jeff and wiggy) are putting together the pre season fixtures. We hope to have most of them confirmed by the next week or so. However it looks increasing like we wont have any home fixtures again because of the pitch.
In regards to the pitch, it needs re-seeding, some patches on the pitch are bald at the moment. This will be done on the weekend coming up. Fingers crossed the fence should be up by November and then we can look at eqiupment to keep the pitch up to a good standard.

hi mark, is there any chance of finding out dates and times and opponents of any friendlies that we have, also i was wondering weither we could get a couple of lads together and have a look at sorting the pitch out when we get it fenced off from the riff raff. i know me and longy want to have a look at doing it when we finish playing but i dont mind having a go before then. if we can get the numbers and some equipment and money to buy things.

Hi Guys
It's great to see everyone air their views on the website..and please keep signing in, as it gives the website superb support...BUT if you really care about the future of Risca AFC..let's stop all rumours going around etc, and turn up at the AGM (and all be man enough..or women enough,sorry ladies!) to say what we think is the best way forward for Risca AFC.
I have views,and they may not be the best thoughts but unless we discuss them and everyone elses, we are not going to allow this great club exceed expectations.
